You have found a Taipei barber shop and a hairstyle you like. Which menu should you book? Separate what you want done from the time you have available, rather than choosing by the service name or price alone. Here is a practical booking checklist using the Japanese barbering full course at HIRO GINZA PREMIUM BARBER Taipei.

Company-provided shampoo service reference photograph. Confirm the services included in your selected course.
1. Want grooming as well as a haircut? Check that a facial shave is included
For a visit that also tidies your beard and brows, consider the full course with facial shaving. A menu called “men’s haircut” does not automatically include shaving, brow trimming or a head spa. Read the inclusions before selecting it.
Our men’s full course includes a haircut, shampoo, facial shaving and brow trimming, facial exfoliation, a face mask, a shoulder and neck massage, and blow-drying and styling. For a first visit, we recommend considering the facial shave as part of the Japanese barbering experience.
You do not need a final haircut decision before the consultation. Bring a reference photo and explain your everyday styling routine. If it is the curl or colour in the photo that appeals to you, ask which services are needed; do not assume the haircut course alone creates that result.
2. Separate the course price from other costs to confirm
The full course is NT$2,520 for a first visit and NT$2,800 at the regular price, with an estimated duration of about 60 minutes. Prices are in New Taiwan dollars.
First-time customers requesting Ryosuke Ito pay an additional NT$500 stylist-request fee. If you also want a head spa, colour or a perm, confirm the appropriate menu, price and total time before booking. The first-visit course price is not an all-options-included final total.
When comparing shops, put the included services, first-visit conditions, stylist-request fees and extra services on the same checklist. That gives you more useful information than comparing the largest price on each page.
3. Have plans afterwards? Tell us when you need to leave
About 60 minutes is a guide, not a guaranteed finish time. If you have work, a meeting or transport to catch afterwards, give your preferred departure time and check whether the proposed service fits before booking.
Ask about the total time for any extra services rather than adding menu durations yourself. Every seat at the Taipei shop is in a private room, and you can stay in the same seat from consultation to finish. Let us know about any particular space or communication requirements in advance.
4. No preferred barber? You can still choose a service
On the booking page, select “ご指名のないお客様” for no stylist preference, then choose your service and date and time. If you are unsure which item fits, ask through the shop’s booking contact before selecting an unsuitable menu.
Before submitting, check that the location is the Taipei shop and review the date, time, service and stylist selection, along with the displayed charges and notices.
