If your straight hair falls flat or sticks out at the sides, choosing a men’s perm starts with the problem you want to change. At HIROGINZA Sydney CBD, creating movement in straight hair and addressing expanding sides are particular areas of focus.
Start with your own hair
“Asian hair” is a useful search phrase, but it does not tell us everything about an individual client. We look at thickness, density, growth direction, length and chemical history. Tell us which part is hardest to style and show us how you normally wear it.
Match the technique to the finish
You might want soft movement, a flowing part or a more defined curl. Our options include nuance, spiral, twist spiral, iron and down perms. The consultation determines which approach, if any, fits your hair and reference.
For stiff, dense hair, an iron perm may be an option for creating a more manageable shape. We do not recommend iron perms on bleached hair.
Keep the routine practical
We choose finishing advice and products around your hair and desired style. Both Ryunosuke Kano and Rika Kano provide perms from AUD 250, including a haircut and shaving. Visit our online booking menu for our Dymocks Building salon in Sydney CBD.
