A grooming appointment does not always mean removing all your facial hair. If you keep a moustache or beard, the most important first step is explaining what should stay.
Be specific about the boundaries
Tell your barber which areas you want shaved and which areas you want preserved. A reference photo can help explain a cheek line or the appearance you prefer around your moustache. Do not assume that “tidy it up” communicates the same result to everyone.
Discuss the service before booking
At HIROGINZA PREMIUM BARBER SYDNEY DYMOCKS, traditional Japanese facial shaving is planned as part of our grooming menu. If you need detailed beard shaping rather than a facial shave, confirm the available service and suitable booking before your visit.
Comfort throughout the shave
A hot towel should feel comfortably warm. Let us know about irritated areas and your preferred temperature. If your skin feels uncomfortable during the service, speak up so we can discuss an adjustment.
Our planned shaving-only price is AUD 60. Japanese facial shaving is also included in the planned Signature Grooming Course at AUD 150, or AUD 120 for a first visit. Final service details and prices may change.
Opening is planned for 28 October 2026, subject to construction and required procedures. Suite 5, Level 1, Dymocks Building, 428 George Street, Sydney NSW.
