“Shorter” can mean different things to different people. At HIROGINZA PREMIUM BARBER SYDNEY DYMOCKS, we want your consultation to turn an idea into a clear plan.
Start with what you want to keep
If you like the length on top but dislike the bulk at the sides, say both. Explain whether you want your ears exposed, your fringe off your forehead, or enough length to part your hair. These details are often more useful than naming a trend.
Show the whole shape
A front-facing reference photo helps, but a side or back view can clarify the outline. We will discuss how the reference relates to your texture and growth direction. You can also show a photo of your own hair when it was working well.
Agree before we begin
Ask your barber to explain the proposed length and finish. If an expression is unclear, a photo or a simple demonstration can help. You do not need technical haircut vocabulary to have a useful conversation.
Our Japanese barber approach combines careful consultation with grooming services adapted to each guest. We are preparing to open in Sydney CBD on 28 October 2026, subject to construction and required procedures.
