For many men, shaving is a task squeezed into a busy morning. A professional hot towel shave can turn that routine into a considered grooming appointment. At HIROGINZA PREMIUM BARBER SYDNEY DYMOCKS, we are preparing to bring traditional Japanese facial shaving to Sydney CBD.
What the hot towel does
A comfortably warm towel helps soften facial hair before shaving and provides a quiet moment to settle into the chair. Temperature should feel comfortable, not intense. Please tell your barber if you prefer a cooler towel or have sensitive skin.
A shave shaped around you
Before starting, we will discuss your preferred finish, areas to keep and any concerns about your skin. If you wear a beard, explain which lines and length you want preserved. The aim is a tidy result that suits your face and everyday grooming habits.
Tell us about sensitivity
Let us know about irritation, recent skin treatments or products that make your skin more sensitive. Your barber can discuss whether to adjust the service or postpone shaving an irritated area. No treatment should be approached as a one-size-fits-all routine.
Our planned shaving-only service is AUD 60. Traditional Japanese facial shaving is also part of the planned Signature Grooming Course, priced at AUD 150, or AUD 120 for a first visit. Menu details and prices remain subject to change.
We plan to open on 28 October 2026, subject to construction and required procedures, at Suite 5, Level 1, Dymocks Building, 428 George Street, Sydney NSW.
